Grandparent Teachings Kit

The Seven Grandfather Teachings are also known as The Seven Sacred Teachings. This is a set of teachings on human conduct towards others. They are what was traditionally, and still are to this day, needed in order to form communities to survive.

While we recognize that not all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures and histories recognize The Seven Sacred Teachings, or the Teachings of the Seven Grandfathers, our intention is to be as inclusive as possible. People all over the world should, and do, strive to follow these simple teachings on human conduct.

This kit includes fun and educational resources for the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Here you will find art, fine motor, science, math, outdoor play exercises and book resources to help aid in the discovery of each teaching. Included in the kit are a wide range of materials, activities, traditional language resources, and protocols for use with children.
